The following is what worked for me in getting the game to work with Windows 10, which is related to the Data Execution Prevention (DEP) settings. Solution: click Windows + R and type "sysdm.cpl" Then go to the Advanced tab. In the performance section, select Settings, then "Data Execution Prevention" Check the option "enable DEP for all programs and services except those selected below". Next add to exceptions...
