Complete Rebalance and New Progression Vagneria has received a comprehensive rebalance to make adventure progression more consistent, challenging, and rewarding. Character progression has also been completely redesigned. Previously, heroes only had Health and Energy as primary stats. Now, Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence are part of every character's development, allowing different classes to evolve in distinct ways. These new attributes are directly tied to the combat system: damage dealt by weapons and skills now scales with the character's stats, making your choice of class and build even more vital to your playstyle. Equipment, weapons, creatures, and biomes have been re-evaluated and rebalanced, creating a clearer power progression along your journey. As you venture into more dangerous regions, the jump in difficulty between biomes becomes distinct, making each new area a true challenge. Alongside the rebalancing, new enemies, bosses, and traps have been introduced, expanding the variety of threats encountered during expeditions. A New Way to Play Vagneria The legacy Survival Mode has been completely redesigned and is now transformed into Expedition Mode, a standalone experience separate from the main campaign. While the Campaign guides the player through a story-driven adventure with quests, characters, and the gradual expansion of the village, Expedition Mode delivers a journey focused on choices, exploration, and continuous progression. Start in a village and choose between different biomas to launch your expedition. Traverse the region, brave its dangers, and upon reaching the next village, choose your next path. Among the major additions to this mode is the chance to find portals leading to the Hazardous version of a biome. In these regions, creatures are stronger and more numerous, but the higher risk rewards you with greater experience and superior loot. Biome layouts have also been completely revamped, allowing for a much wider variety of rooms, paths, encounters, and layout combinations. Exploring the same biome type no longer means repeating the same expedition. Expedition Mode fully incorporates the new rebalance of equipment, creatures, and biomes, as well as all new enemies, bosses, and traps added in this update. Expanded Campaign and Story Chaining Vagneria's campaign has been expanded and provided with enhanced context to better connect the world, its characters, and the player's adventures. Existing village NPCs—such as the Sailor, the Traveler, and the Dwarf Master—now play a more integrated role in the story. Additionally, characters like the Jeweler and the Tamer have been fully woven into the campaign. The arrival of these characters in the village now unfolds more naturally. Instead of simply appearing, several characters require the player to complete specific actions and objectives before joining the community. New side quests have also been added to tie these activities into the main campaign. The Great Oceanic Expedition, the Traveler's secret journeys, and the Dwarf Master's Chamber of Champions are now part of an overarching narrative rather than isolated activities. With these changes, exploring the world, meeting new characters, and completing quests all feed into a unified journey where your actions directly expand the village and unlock new narrative chapters. New Village Events System The village is now dynamic! As you push deeper into your expeditions, unique events can trigger in town—bringing special opportunities, vendor changes, and fresh activities for adventurers. A new NPC in the village will inform you of the currently active event, allowing you to check out what's new before heading out on your next expedition. Featured events include: • Clearance Sale: Merchants discount all prices by half. • Royal Blacksmith's Visit: Repaired equipment receives double durability. • Harvest Season: Medicinal herbs spawn in greater abundance around the village. • Surface Ores: New resources appear near the village perimeter. • Slime Breakout: Captured creatures begin escaping across village areas. • Mysterious Machine: An unknown machine appears with limited charges and unexpected rewards. • War Master: A veteran warrior visits the village to offer specialized training. ...and many more events can trigger throughout your journey. New Village Characters New villagers have arrived, bringing new features for adventurers: 💍 Jeweler The Jeweler allows you to combine any two rings to craft a unique new ring, unlocking new build options and equipment combinations. 📢 Town Crier A new NPC stationed in the village to announce the active event, keeping you informed before you set off on expeditions. 🐎 Tamer Once rescued during your adventure, the Tamer joins the village and grants access to Cavalry, opening up new options for exploration and mounted combat. Revamped Village Defense The village defense system has been completely reworked to make encounters more dynamic, fast-paced, and strategic. • Autonomous Workers: Workers now perform tasks automatically—gathering resources, constructing new structures, and repairing buildings without requiring constant manual commands. • Faster Production: Unit training and structure build times have been accelerated, letting you prepare defenses quickly when a battle approaches. • Smarter AI: Soldiers now feature improved combat AI and react more efficiently to battlefield threats: • 🛡️ Shieldbearers advance to the frontline and position themselves between you and the enemy to block incoming projectiles. • 🏹 Archers automatically retreat to safer positions in the rear when enemies close in, maintaining safe distance to keep firing. • ⚔️ Warriors act aggressively, charging straight into melee combat without hesitation. Additionally, ally stats now scale directly with player level, ensuring your troops remain effective even into the late game. The result is a faster, smarter defense system that requires less micro-management, letting you focus on combat while your troops hold the line. New Items, Equipment, and Consumables A wide range of new gear, weapons, consumables, and special items has been added to Vagneria, expanding options for combat, exploration, and character customization: • New Rings: Varied tiers offering Dexterity, Intelligence, Critical Damage, Lifesteal, Health Regeneration, and Energy Regeneration. • New Special Rings: Unique equipment pieces with specialized effects for specific playstyles. • New Essences: Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Energy, Health, and Hunger. • New Elixirs & Potions: Stat buffs, defense, critical chance, berserker state, exploration utilities, and agility enhancements. • Knives Added: Models crafted from Wood, Bone, Stone, Copper, Iron, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Coral, and Crystal. • New Bombs: Crafted using various materials including Stone, Metals, Diamond, and Coral. • Chakrams Added: A wide selection of chakrams crafted from different materials. • New Arrows: Wooden arrows and various types of Coral arrows. • Spears Added: An extensive collection of spears crafted from Wood, Bone, Stone, Copper, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and various Coral types. This ensures rewards stay relevant to your location and current power level. Venture into more dangerous regions, tackle greater challenges, and earn rewards suited to your progress.
