An absolutely incredible game, my favorite of 2024, that didn't get the attention it deserved because Level-5 sent it out to die with near zero marketing. Musou game with robots and sidescrolling intermissions. Much like playing a super robot anime as a game. Runs as expected, has a nice cell shaded anime aesthetic. Customization is decent for the genre, done before the mission start largely.

It's probably a game for endless looting and gear chasing, but this game's story mode is a terrible way to experience the game. The gameplay in the story mode is so mind numbingly boring, cutscenes constantly interrupt the gameplay, and you'll be spending the majority of the time watching cutscenes before you get 10 seconds to actually play. The story itself had some promise, but there's too many plotholes, too many...
