Let's face it, Hi-Rez is not doing well. Restructurings, layoffs, pulling the plug on essentially all their games and barely keeping them alive to scrap some leftover pennies from sporadic new players - it doesn't sound good. They decided to go all in on Smite 2, but for some reason, they thought having anti-cosumer practices that insult your intelligence was the way to go. These guys pulled an Overwatch and killed...

They really released the same game with less Gods and a worse shop UI, with none of the skins I purchased over the decade of playing the original. You wanna know why Smite never took off? It's because the people running the show are incompetent.

Trying to make me purchase skins i paid for already? Thousand+ Dollar Smite account basically useless. Need blue gems for old skins? 500 skins total i get slapped with a fee to buy rewashed skins. Idk man i loved Smite but adding a number 2 and trying to double charge me is beyond aggravating. I would gladly pay for new skins but not old skins i already owned.
