This game is mediocre. Runs take too long to get going, and end just as your build starts doing something. After winning you unlock 1 or 2 mastery levels, of which there are 25 (35?), the first 10 or so mastery levels being easy to the point that there is no strategy or skill expression of any kind. This suits my preferences much more than other survivors games because the gameplay is focused on the planning and skill tree building rather than aimlessly walking around in other games.

Is it worth 4 bucks? Probably. The game has the potential to be absolutely incredible. Honestly the first half of my first run I thought I had found my new favorite game. As nights get longer and you scale faster than the enemies, however, the gameplay becomes so samey so fast that I walked away from my computer for 4 hours before coming back to finish it.
