F-Youbisoft forced an otherwise EXCELLENT, SINGLE PLAYER GAME to connect to their servers. Which they disabled.
They couldn't be bothered to disable a couple of network calls and release a 55kb patch, so the game is busted.
They still sell it, though.
Why?
Because they're F-Youbisoft, that's why.
I paid for this game, but I don't own it, apparently.

This is definitely my favourite Far Cry game. I completed it once when it came out, and then now 10+ years later, and it still slaps. This is what happens when developers are allowed to make a fun game and have fun making it.
However, here's an elephant in the room — the game freezes for a solid minute each time you open the menu, because greedy Ubisoft decided to just turn off servers for their DRM or something,...

The game is good, BUT:
Always-online ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ prevents launching the game. Can't be assed to find and apply a crack, so downvote you go.
