Hey everyone! Happy Halloween, we hope you’re all enjoying The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication! Today is an exciting day as we officially launch the game on consoles, and we’re bringing this patch to the PC version to ensure it’s in line with the console release. This update focuses on improving the overall gameplay experience, fixing some minor bugs, and introducing a few quality-of-life tweaks. Patch Highlights for Update Ver.1.7.2 System • Updated the video codec. Optimisation • Enhanced the spatial perception of the voice and sound effects. • Updated the game's credits. • Optimised multiple UI button prompts. • Optimised Localisation for several languages. • Optimised memory usage for textures. General Fixes • Fixed an error where the master tape became uninteractive after loading a saved game.

This is a lot harder to review than just a simple "Yes/No" on recommendations. First off: the voice acting is terrible and the writing is bad. Every time a cutscene started I would get annoyed. I looked for an option to play voice acting in the original language instead of English, but didn't see one, so I just had to grin and bear it. Plus, the writing could be really awful in parts. Fun game i'd have to say. Story wise i still prefer the first one. But gameplay wise the second one for me excels in creative ways. The second game for me is more of an adventure type game and less horror. If you're looking for a more atmospheric experience and actual unique supernatural premise i'd say go for the first one. The second game offers a unique fresh experience but not as scary as the first one. 8/10.
