What a huge disappointment of a game. Especially after black plague. Who came up with making a penumbra puzzle game with no actual story or horror? Pure junk.

I recommend avoiding other reviews, as they often contain spoilers. Overall, the three games are "alright", which for me means around 4/10. The gameplay can be summarized as a mix of story, puzzles, investigation, exploration, horror, and atmosphere. note: since all three penumbra games are now part of the penumbra collection i will leave the same summary on all of them. i first got my hands on the penumbra games in late 2012.
