This game is all about enthusiastically endorsing ecoterrorism against trees because they wronged a granny. I have finally discovered the most noble cause in gaming history. REVENGE. Not against evil wizards. Not against space aliens. Not against ancient gods. TREES. Those oxygen-producing wooden freeloaders with their bark-covered bodies and leafy green hair. Why? Jack Lumber is basically Fruit Ninja with bullet time and a surprisingly charming backstory about avenging your granny's death at the hands of a sentient tree. The slow-motion mechanic is genuinely clever, and the pun-telling beaver you rescue early on got a real laugh out of me.
