An Update on the Processional of the Damned
2026-09-24Lord Captains! We have important news regarding the Processional of the Damned DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. We’re sorry it took us so long to bring you this update — we had to figure out a few things before making this announcement. Despite our best efforts to deliver the expansion by September as originally intended, it has become clear to us that it won't be ready in time. That's why, to ensure we deliver the experience players deserve, we have decided to delay the launch. The release window will be set to December, 2026 and is not expected to move any further. We sincerely apologise for this situation, and greatly value your patience and understanding. We realize that the longer wait might upset some of our fans, especially those who'd like to replay the game with ALL content out, but we want to deliver an expansion you'll truly enjoy.

However, we also acknowledge that it might negatively impact your plans. If you are an owner of Season Pass 2 on Steam and you wish to reconsider playing the DLC due to this delay, you are eligible for a refund of the Season Pass 2 through Steam Customer Support. Please note that this will remove Processional of the Damned and the Infinite Museion from your Steam account, and break any saved games made with the Infinite Museion DLC content activated. If you wish to continue playing your previous save after a refund, you will need to obtain the Infinite Museion DLC separately at: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4226770/Warhammer_40000_Rogue_Trader__The_Infinite_Museion/ The Appearance Pack included in Season Pass 2 will be made free and integrated into the base game for everyone, and thus will not affect your saves. Note that this change will come slightly later to the other platforms. With all this in mind, we believe being late is better than rushing the expansion at all costs. We hope that our community will agree with us, and not mind giving the DLC a bit more time in the oven for a better final experience.
