Game Design at Its Finest Sifu is a great game that I really feel like deserves way more praise. It perfectly mashes beat 'em up, souls-like, and rogue-like elements in a way we've never seen before. Game Design and Mechanics The game designers of Sifu are genuinely geniuses. Sifu is basically a game about getting beaten up until you finally learn how to beat everyone else up. At first you feel like a martial arts master, then the first real enemy shows up and suddenly you’re 70 years old and questioning your life choices. The combat is super satisfying once you learn it, but the game will absolutely punish you for every mistake. Hard, frustrating, but really fun when it finally clicks....

Sifu might be the best beat em up ever made, it is very hard to master but once you figure it out you feel like a badass. I recommend the Sifu guide by underthemayo on youtube if you're having trouble with the game. I don't really know what else to say other than that it's just a sick ass game, I hope every future beat em up takes notes from this one, would love a co-op version of this game.
