Demo Voice Update Complete! & Crowdfunding News Hello, this is Team Tetrapod. The Staffer Retro demo has been updated to Version 0.9.V1. This update includes the long-awaited Japanese voice acting, along with preparations for our upcoming crowdfunding campaign. Main Cast Preview Videos Patch Notes • Japanese voice acting added • UI / UX improvements • Enhanced character and background presentation • Added animations to selected cutscenes • Additional dialogue • Bug fixes • Updated visual direction and effects • Adjustments to selected events Save Data Notice • Save data from previous demo versions is not compatible. Many features and improvements suggested by players in earlier versions have been implemented in this update.

Because this version contains a particularly large number of structural changes, maintaining compatibility with older save data was unfortunately not possible. For this reason, save data from Version 0.9.V1 onward will be stored separately. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support. We will continue improving the demo in future updates. This might be my favourite deductive reasoning visual novels. I've played Ace Attorney, Danganronpa, Zero Escape, Somnium Files, Master Detective Archives, Somnium files etc. etc. You get it. I love these games, but one of the worst aspects of them, of nearly all of them, is their bloated writing, poor pacing and inconsistent tone. Staffer Case does not suffer these problem. 7/10 A pretty good "Phoenix Wright"-like, focused on the investigations in a world where magic exist that get surprisingly dark. It got a pretty good pace in the different cases and does not suffer from the endless padding that some of the later PW games does and has a pretty good overarching plot. Some of the dialogue was a bit stiff and didn't exactly flow properly, probably due to the translation, but nothing...
