Tides of Tomorrow new trailer + demo update!

Hey Hitchhikers, Long time no see! We’re getting close to the launch of Tides of Tomorrow on April 22, our brand‑new game, and we’re excited to share some cool stuff with you. Did you know the idea for Tides of Tomorrow originally came from Road 96? We thought, “What if every character who made it to the border was played by a different player?” That question sparked the creation of our unique new feature: Online Story-Link! And here is a brand-new trailer that breaks it all down. We also released a demo back in October — and we just updated it RIGHT NOW! In this demo, you will discover one location from the opening act of the full game: Marketland. A vibrant yet unstable island, shaped by the decisions of another player you choose to follow— a friend, a streamer, or a stranger.

If you enjoyed the previous game and came to this one looking for more of the same you're just going to be disappointed. Whilst Mile 0 does provide some additional worldbuilding and character background the core gameplay mechanic this time around is a series of runner/rhythm minigames referred to as rides that are both terribly designed and unresponsive. Road 96: Mile 0 When I first bought this game, someone told me I’d be better off getting a refund. I truly wish I had listened to that advice. I can't recall the exact price—maybe two dollars or less during a sale—and I only bought it because I was a huge fan of the first game. I thought to myself: "How bad could it be? Honestly you have to be a HUGE fan of the first game to even finish this one. The whole subway surfers gameplay threw the whole game off. The characters are extremely boring compared to the first game. If this game had just stuck to the original mechanics and added new characters, it would be more enjoyable. Its really disappointing to play the first game and come to this mess of a sequel.
