Beastly TL;DR: A masterpiece that unfortunately isn't for everyone due to brutal themes and a truly unhinged difficulty spike. Nine Sols felt custom-built for my tastes, and is probably my favorite game that I played in 2025. The hand-drawn art style, music, story, and gameplay are all phenomenally impressive, especially considering that the studio that produced it has never made a game in this genre before....

i won't put negative review since it's purely my skill issue, but i just want to warn anyone that this game required a really fast reflection and a great timing since the game is all about parrying enemy attack.

Funniest review
The bosses are straight up unfair, every time I try to kill them their music starts to pop off and I start instinctively breakdancing in my room. Awful balancing and a fundamentally broken game. 10/10.
