2026-01-25

A new patch has been released. This fixes a few small issues. • Fixed Steam achievements. A minor error was preventing this from working. Any achievements unlocked during the period when this was broken will retroactively unlock. No progress will be lost. • Fixed some incorrect trees in the Main Menu level that were animating incorrectly. • Adjusted the position of the Main Menu buttons to not block text in certain versions of the game/certain resolutions.

I don't mind picking this up, it's cool that Steam allows us to buy and try these one man band titles. Ultimately, I don't recommend it, but I respect it and hope the devs keeps creating. While I enjoy the creature design and sound, what really let me down was the level/world design. I felt like I was playing in a procedurally generated land mass where the biomes all felt the same. Maybe my hopes were too high, but even on a 60% discount this game was not worth it. A long time ago, I saw this game promoted with the fact that it has a mode to photograph instead of hunt. I loved this idea. I eventually came around to getting the game (maybe a year or two later) on sale. There are many other reviews that go into much more detail than I ever could, especially considering I could only bare playing...
