Get ready for some exciting updates! A patch is scheduled for release today, February 17th, bringing new content to TopSpin! Patch Highlights: • Added Season 6 Center Court Pass and Pro Shop content • Updated serve animations for Keys, Agassi, and Sampras • Added 3 new Tennis Styles and 10 new Pro Outfits to the Pro Shop • Added "Net Points Won" to the Statistics screen in the Pause Menu • Updated the logic for entering the Player Selection screen in Exhibition and 2K Tour modes to randomly select default Pro Outfits • General bug fixes and improvements This patch is scheduled for release today, February 17th, at 1 PM GMT / 2 PM CET / 5 AM PST! The excitement continues with the launch of Season 6 shortly after, on February 18th at 6 AM GMT / 7 AM CET / 10 PM PST (Due to time zones, this will be February 17th PST).

As usual for a 2K game, this one is filled with microtransactions. You can't even play career while offline because everything is tied to the in-game currency. Moreover, this game is not at all about tennis, is about hitting the correct timing on a bar. I can't understand who thought that players should focus on a green bar instead of looking at the court. Fun tennis game that performs great on the Steam Deck. However, in typical 2k fashion, mycareer simply requires you to open up your wallet just for your player to be able to hit a forehand over the net. The grind is unbelievably slow without your credit card. Also, always online requirements suck.

TopSpin2k25 is the spiritual successor of the much beloved TopSpin 4. I say spiritual because there's very little inherited from the formula that made TopSpin 4 one of the greatest tennis games of all time in this new iteration.
