Plank Builders is a captivating yet relaxing construction game. Magical marbles have the ability to make stuffed toys come alive. Together with the monkeys, the player can plan and construct different buildings made out of wooden planks. Find all the monkeys and help them to come alive too!

I really love the vibe and idea here. Sadly in it's current state the game is a buggy mess that does not manage to execute on it's core premise. It feels more like an early access title. The two deal breakers: 1. Saving is kinda bugged, sometimes just wiping your file. 2. Monkey AI is completely unable to deal with the complexity of the game. The game is great fun but massive problems with save files deleting themselves, If you played the demo these steps should help with save file loss in one instance https://steamcommunity.com/app/1774860/discussions/0/4767710741164391779/ But i keep having my saves not save and delete themselves after playing for 30 plus minutes with no other clear thing causing it. A fun and adorable game! Needs some bug fixing, but that will come with time. For a two-person studio, the game runs and plays very well! Just don't delete any planks you're standing on.

The game is super cute, and I wish it was made more robustly, but as it stands, it's not good enough for me to recommend. During my 45 minutes of gameplay, I managed to soft-lock twice, loosing my save-game both times, meaning I had to start from scratch even though I had 15-20 minutes of progress. In addition the AI for the monkeys is not robust enough, they struggled with my small save, and I can't imagine them...
