Update 1.2 - Coming Oct 1
2026-09-21Adventurers! Our first big post-launch update for you, as promised in our roadmap, is coming October 1st 6pm CET / 12pm ET. Prepare to: Get shot with and shoot the crossbow! This new weapon is one of the most fun ones we’ve made. If you pick up this comically large crossbow, you can load any item or corpse onto it as ammunition. It deals a different amount of damage depending on what you use as ammo. But beware: All regular monsters in the tower now have the ability to throw items at you, so you might see some of your projectiles returned via airmail. Peasants can also carry crossbows and assist you from behind, although of course you should never bet on their intelligence to help you out. Get robbed

There’s a new threat in the tower that fans of Lucky Tower 2 will immediately recognize: the robbers. These human enemies stumbled upon the sewer entrance of the tower and decided to look for riches in the caves. They only carry crossbows for now, although we are planning to make them more flexible enemies that can carry shields and melee weapons as well. Go down the drain Speaking of the sewer entrance, this new shortcut out of the tower has been unclogged! To enter the sewers, you can find pipes in the green segment of the tower that lead to the garbage chute. However, Evelius has installed some security: You can only access the chute if you sacrifice a living being in a devilish machine. So why should you visit the stinking sewers, you ask? Well, remember that crown or magic lamp that fell into a gap earlier? You can now retrieve all those items in the sewers. You can even find more items in the depths of the fat berg that has grown there if you use your plumber’s helper to get them out. Beware not to step into it too deeply — the stench down there will make you nauseous. The garbage chute will lead you directly into the caves and can also be accessed from there. If you made a sacrifice before, a pipe exit in the caves will be unlocked, and you can leave without having to pass through the entire cave system. Enjoy the silence Use the middle dialogue button while someone is blabbering, and Von Wanst will step in with an abrupt interruption. He can even interrupt himself talking! New ear-y features Some monsters in the tower now have giant ears, which makes them vulnerable to the sound of honk horns and other effects. This makes the tower a bit easier! We also tweaked some items and made some small adjustments here and there. The plumber’s helper can now “suck up” items that are medium sized and pliers with coal finally have a function in the game. You can read the whole list in the changelog, as usual. Shoot away! If you'd like to play the update now and help test it, join the Studio Seufz Discord server to find out how to download the beta branch and to share feedback and bug reports. P.S. The update after this one will unveil something big, so be ready. P.P.S. If you haven’t yet, you can buy a cute Hubert plushie here! We just need 100 more Hubert-friends to pre-order a plushie and it will get made. If we don’t reach 200 pre-orders, everyone will get a refund.
