Newsletter #51: A busy end of the year for the studio
2026-09-07Hello, everyone! The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here: After the Wane will officially launch on November 10, 2026, on PC, Mac, and Linux/SteamOS! To celebrate, we’ve just dropped a brand-new trailer packed with never-before-seen footage, fresh scenes, and a deeper look into the world we've been crafting. Go check it out and let us know your favorite shots! On top of that, we recently crossed 7,500 wishlists on Steam. For the Nova-box team, this is a massive milestone. It’s actually the highest wishlist count we’ve ever reached for a game prior to launch. A huge, heartfelt thank you to every single one of you. Seeing your fan art, reading your reviews of the demo, and chatting with you in the comments means the world to us and fuels our sprint to the finish line. Come hang out with us in real life!

If you happen to be in France this autumn, we’re hitting the road with playable builds of After the Wane. Come say hi, try the game, and chat with the team: • Spawn! (Angoulême, France) — October 3 • Animasia (Bordeaux, France) — October 10–11 • Stunfest (Rennes, France) — October 23–25 We’d love to meet you in person, so don’t hesitate to drop by our booth! 10 years of Along the Edge! Time truly flies! On October 12th, 2016, we released Along the Edge. That means our very first visual novel is turning 10 years old next month! We couldn’t let a decade slip by without celebrating properly. We’re currently cooking up some wild, exclusive surprises to mark the occasion. We can’t spoil the fun just yet, but we hope you’ll love what we have in store. Festivals, awards, and big dreams The festival season is already kicking off: starting today, After the Wane is part of the official selection for the Prismatic Indie Festival (September 7–11)! We’ve also been pre-selected for the DevGAMM Awards in Portugal and the Stunfest Awards right here in France. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for both, and who knows where the road will take us next? We’re dreaming big for this project, aiming for the IGF in San Francisco, the Pégases in France, A MAZE. in Germany, and even the BAFTAs in the UK. To infinity and beyond, right? Launch day on November 10th won't be the end of the adventure, either. We’ll keep working on the game post-release, with plenty more announcements lined up down the road... To wrap up, I’d like to remind you to add After the Wane to your wishlist. If you haven’t done so yet, please know that this is extremely important for our release. We’d really love to hit the 10,000 wishlists mark. If you can post, share, and send the link everywhere, we’re counting on you. Stay tuned, take care, and see you very soon! ːulysseː Antonio, Marketing & Community Manager
