Alright, I think I'm overdue for a review, seeing how this game got roasted a lot which made me wary at first. Lost Eidolons is in that frustrating “almost good” category but ultimately it doesn't work out. The moment-to-moment battle tactics are interesting and a lot of thought and effort has gone into designing the levels and the art. But the game is grindingly slow, from the “optional” battles that aren't optional if you want your characters to be sufficiently leveled, to the protracted cut-scenes, to the seemingly endless...

Game is great at first but really quickly becomes monotonous because you keep doing the same thing over and over again. After taking over the 6th fort with the same characters doing the same skills against the same enemies you kind of done with it. And then you realize you have less then 25% of the game done and the other 75% is exactly the same. Story is kind of generic so you can't ride that wave, without any...
