Hint: you only need to buy this version of Heroes 5, as both the original and the Hammers of Fate campaigns can be played on Tribes of the East (you just need to download the campaign files), and this is the best version of the game (not counting mods).

Absolute classic and a big part of my childhood. I highly recommend if you are returning to this or want to re-experience the game, that you try out the Might & Magic: Heroes 5.5 (MMH5.5) mod, which changes up the entire game by polishing up on some dull areas such as the slow AI turns, as well as balancing the factions in a very healthy way for more spread out viability throughout the game (Inferno is good!...

Heroes of might and magic V is the best in the saga... has fly-by camera in a totally 3D city with fantastic music... Everything was done with a fanatical perfection...sure there are quirks but it's mostly minor things, skills,level ups etc look fantastic still, heroes 6 & 7 are not comparable, they look sterile and not fantasy enough...even the menu looks miles better! 10/10 buy it, especially on sale, avoid 6 & 7...
