I am a huge fan of Stargate and I really, really wanted to like this game but its one of the clunkiest most poorly designed games that i have ever played. I would not recommend this game for anyone but the most hardened masochists.

It's a decent game - not the best in the genre, but definitely enjoyable. The story is solid, the team members' abilities are well thought out, and the level design is great. On the downside, some animations are a bit stiff, there are occasional bugs (I had to restart one mission and lost about an hour of progress), and a few achievements are broken (had to use SAM to unlock them). I'm really a big fan of Stargate but sadly this game is not fun. It's kind of clunky and I find most defeats are from accidental clicks or fumbling around trying to tie up a knocked out enemy. I really wanted the first Stargate game in a long time to be fun but sadly it's not. I can hope there will be a better one in the future.
