If you are having problems starting the game and it crashes at launch i think i found a fix that worked for me. There is a exe in the game files called (Run me) this updates the game to work on at least my system Ryzen 5 5600x AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 Gig. Right click on the game in steam and go to manage then browse local files binaries and it should be in there hopefully that helps.

I played this a lot on the Xbox 360, back in the day. A bit clunky, but a lot of fun, and the multiplayer (when it was active) was great fun. It's from that great era of Ubisoft actually when they crafted entertaining games.

If you want to buy Ubisoft games please consider a sale and give them as little money as possible or non at all. Ubisoft has repeatedly demonstrated an anti-consumer attitude. The company permanently revoked access to The Crew, leaving paying customers unable to play a game they purchased after its servers were shut down.
