For better or for worse this is the most uncompromising attempt of an homage to classic PSX survival horror I have played so far. A lot of other games have nailed the art style, and the exploration. Really really liked this one, even though there were some issues. Atmosphere and setting was great, felt kinda like if you mashed mcgee's alice (specifically madness returns imo) with classic resident evil. The music while not the most memorable except for some tracks was very fitting and added to the atmosphere (even the occasional choice of silence). Game is almost Amazing. BUT, the game needs some serious QOL gameplay and mechanic overhauls before I could recommend it. I really love the idea, theme, art direction, and influences this game shows lovingly. Amazing game, I love it! I beat the game before it had the achievements. So much fun that I was secretly played the whole game while at work on the computer. But no Tank Controls for console versions is a stupid choice on devs part. Considering it's survival horror game with fixed camera angles. Pretty please, add the Tank Controls for the all console versions of the game.
