Its full of bugs but I'm surprised this game got localization patches in 2024. It's basically a retail total conversion mod for Men of War. Its innately kind of novel for being about the Soviet-Afghan War which almost never gets representation in media outside of Russia. Once I got over the camera issues and slow start, this was one of the best RTS campaigns I ever played. Before each mission, the game lists all the men you've gotten killed so far in the campaign, with respective name, skills and medals. That small touch really changed my perspective on taking casualties throughout the story (plus there's a bonus mission for keeping certain soldiers alive until the...
