This game is great. I highly recommend it for those looking for a game in the business management/logistics genre, but the Steam version is vaporware. I used to play the Steam version of this game on Windows 8 and it took technical workarounds that went beyond checking a few boxes in the windows “compatibility settings” menu. At some point the game just stopped working. The Steam version has never worked on Windows...

Port Royale 2 is a great game, perhaps even the best in the series. But once again, we're faced with a lackluster, half-baked release riddled with graphical glitches and a lack of customization options. This is yet another reason why you should buy classics on GOG.com. They know how to do it right, so leave your money there. Refunded.

0/10 Comepletely unplayable, crashes instantly. To attempt to fix this you have to change files, download files, and disable things in windows defender. Lord knows if the fixes are even up to date. This used to be / is still one of the best games out there but yea... we dont get to enjoy that. The sale is a scam, if you want this game buy it elsewhere. My disappointment is immeasurable And my Day has been ruined.
