While this side game wasn't really good it was playable enough for a RE fan but Capcom decided to completely make it unplayable on June 29, 2025. Please stop killing games You could have just shut down the servers but kept the game up with P2P connection instead or better yet add bots but instead we got a permanent menu screen.

Resident Evil Re:Verse feels like a side mode that somehow became its own game. The concept of pitting classic characters against each other sounds cool, but the execution is clunky and shallow. I’m honestly just glad it was bundled with Resident Evil Village, because I would’ve never bought it separately. The game already felt dead, and now that it’s officially end of service, there’s zero reason to touch it. Big...

For the little time i had in this game ..it was fun and worthy but it died too soon and now is unplayable no offline mode no ..nothing ..so RIP !

CAPCOM still lets you download and launch the entire game, only to tell you that the service is no longer available. That is ridiculous. I wasted time downloading it, launching it, and trying to play, only to discover that the game is completely unusable. You cannot even host a private lobby with friends. That could have given the game some value, but instead, it is nothing more than a dead download wasting space...
