Recommended IF bought at HUGE discount and have no other HOG to play. So maybe not... Prepare to pixel hunt some blurry images in the British version of English; where a wrench is a spanner, a Band-aid is a plaster, a skiffle (?) is a bowling pin, and I forgot what else. Prepare to hear a lot of discordant honks as the game lets you know it doesn't like *THAT* particular spot you clicked... or that one, or the next...

I have very, very mixed feelings about this game, but despite its many flaws I ultimately had fun with it so it gets a reluctant thumbs up. - Gameplay - The game has only one difficulty mode, and no achievements or scoreboard to worry about. An older game where all the scenes are only H.O. scenes. And mini-games sprinkled in between. Good. Used to it and I thought the mystery was fun! XD I'd rather have/play this game than some nowadays mystery (and other) games. -.-" Also: If you are seeking to refill your "Hints", find an "Ankh". I once found two. ^^" Andddddddd... All mini-games come with an immediate skip. Ehh...! At least try 'em a bit...

Unfortunately tedious. Despite the intrigue inherent in the setting, Death on the Nile the story ain't. The pattern of the game is as follows: Hidden Object screen, dialogue, minigame puzzle, repeat as needed. The object names are not always correct in scenes, the speaker is not always labeled correctly during dialogue, and at times the minigame takes upwards of 20 minutes to pass even with optimal moves taken....
