i genuinely dont understand why this game is hated so much, despite the 'mostly positive' reviews it's genuinely a really enjoyable game for some reason. The combat is kinda bad at the start but becomes kinda fun when you get other party members, it's fun to customise your build and exploit elemental weaknesses. This was a decent experience. Interesting to see the narrative between 2d and 3d games. Some of the new characters were pretty funny, and the battle system was pretty engaging. Combat could be weird or slow depending on what skills you equip, but hitting their weakness feels good, and rewards you a ton. Art style is really nice, sometimes makes it hard to read the stages though. Some of the cutscenes also didn't load...
