in 2007 the game itself was both ahead of its time and already outdated. wanna say, the devs deserve respect for making that Half-Life 2 rip-off with their own engine and while somehow anticipating Crysis and Singularity. eventually, it helped Saber build its first reputation, and it grew into a big multi-studio company, so, it was worth it, I guess. in 2025, TimeShift is good for archeology, I suppose, nothing...

TimeShift is one of those PS3-era shooters that didn’t quite get the recognition it deserved, but still sticks in my memory for how fun its core idea is.
