I'm glad I played Steel Ocean during its heyday (2016-2017). I used to play with my dad, him as a Destroyer attacking kamikaze-style and me as a battleship providing support, haha. The game had submarines well before World of Warships, and it had an exciting battleship targeting system. The Fleet system, a kind of Guild, was also very cool, as was the community. This is a pretty fun naval combat game if you like big team battles and old-school MMO shooter energy. It’s not the fanciest thing in the world, but it has that nice “pick a ship, join the fight, try not to embarrass your fleet” loop that works better than it probably should.
