Alpha Protocol is a beautiful mess of a game that I absolutely recommend anyone and everyone interested in RPGs and interactive narrative to play once. Just, not on Steam. As a primary example as to why: I just finished the game's roughly 17-20 or so hour campaign using this Steam version I bought ages ago, and it says that I've only played it for 8 hours. Older game from the Glory Days of Obsidian Entertainment. It's a touch dated but honestly not too badly. Amazingly fun story. If you ever wanted to be a spy or just like the genre - this is a classic. Still fun and good in 2026. This is one of those games that EVERYONE should play at least once...
