The main conceit of deckbuilding roguelike DICEOMANCER is that you can replace any number with the result of a die roll. The gimmick contributes to the game’s general chaos, with its absurd story of fighting eldritch horrors and woodland creatures so you can go fishing, and its gorgeous eight frames-per-second hand-drawn animations of enemies and card effects. The devs came out of nowhere, made this really great and unique game full of hand drawn art, and then disappeared off the face of the planet. Trust me, there is no other card battler quite like it. Very good game. Don't be turned off in the demo by what seems to be over-complicated cards and a mess of keywords. Once you get some rounds in it becomes significantly easier to understand the mechanics and interactions between cards. The demo is also relatively outdated compared to the game release, so lots of keywords are better explained or clearly marked/clarified in the actual release. Highly recommend.
