Arguably my favourite game of all time. 525 hours at time of writing, but I must have dozens if not hundreds more on the game's alpha and beta versions, having followed this absolute gem all throughout its development.

If it makes sense, I'm not enjoying the game because it isn't simple enough??? Like I think I would genuinely want to play way more of this game if it was a daily wordle like thing that does a dungeon type, and picks your character and provisions and you solve the dungeon in a browser and not this standalone downloadable game. I was trying to think why that is, and I'm pretty sure the reason why is that I don't feel...

I was looking forward to some dungeon crawling roguelike fun but that's not really what I was getting here. It's a very punishing puzzle game with limited - often only one - ways to beat the levels. The game wants you to plan ahead while not giving you the information to do so. The map is dark and has to be lit up by your hero's movement, where you can find buffs, items and enemies randomly generated. You have to use...

It’s an RNG dependent puzzle game rather than a roguelike. It’s also quite repetitive and grindy and if you make a couple of wrong moves (often without realizing it) the game punishes you like 50 turns later, making the level impossible to complete. Meh.
