Don't let the hours fool you. I played the whole game on my PS4 a few years back. I was a massive fan of the True Crime series before Square Enix picked up the rights and changed it to the game we know and love today. The games story was solid overall. Awesome game sometimes riddled with bugs, but sadly not possible to finish the game completely with the censored German version. Otherwise I can only recommend Sleeping Dogs

I ain´t gonna sugarcoat it... open worlds games from the early 2010s era have not aged quite good in my opinion. Sadly I feel the same about the open world of Sleeping Dogs. Even after saying this, It is so sad that this franchise never got the chance to flourish. It was never meant to be a GTA killer, but I do think that with only this game, they showed this franchise could have been the closest any saga has ever...

it was outdated already on release, and many people including myself tried to close their eyes to it. now it doesn't matter. something honest was there, despite its production hell and a lack of people, money and time.
