F.I.S.T is an anthropomorphic metroidvania that explores many ideas, both in gameplay decisions and story chapters, both done to a satisfying degree… Seeing the review score that this game garnered makes me feel a bit sad for it. Good metroidvania with several flaws. I agree with other reviewers that said it is less than the sum of its parts. Combat is decent but becomes overly complicated as there is a combo system that really doesn't come into play except for the exceedingly difficult "training." Enemies can stunlock you and can feel unfair. Last two bosses are absolutely overpowered and feel totally out of spirit with the rest of the game....
