Windows Update 24H2 Fix

Orcs Must Die! is still a beloved favorite so we appreciate our community's patience while we got to the bottom of this issue. We have corrected an issue with the underlying game engine that was introduced with Windows Update 24H2. Players should now be able to utilize all supported game resolutions. Our thanks to our friends at Firefly Studios for determining the root cause of the issue in the Vision engine and suggesting a solution. Note that if a player has followed our previous suggestion and created a user.cfg file specifying that the game start in "window" mode, the player will have to manually remove or rename that file for any new video settings to persist across gaming sessions.

Haven't played this in over 14 years! Still holds up very well by today's standards. Any fans of the tower defense genre would enjoy this.

Love this game. Still holds up great - the graphics style is timeless. Maps are simpler than the sequels but that honestly makes it funner in some ways. The maps are all wonderfully distinct. The music is perfect, and the humour is endearing. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

Orcs Must Die! is a really fun mix of action and tower defense with a colorful, cartoony art style that still holds up pretty well. It’s simple to get into but surprisingly addictive once you start experimenting with traps.
